Bel-Air Swap-Meet invests $5,000 in the Artist Showcase.
In October, Bel-Air Swap-Meet increased their annual sponsorship of the
Cultural Arts program from $1,000 to $5,000. The contribution has been earmarked for the
quarterly Artist Showcase.
"For a local company to sponsor an arts program at this level is just incredible.
We are very fortunate to have companies like Bel-Air Swap-Meet contributing to our showcases," says
Courtney Hodnick, community services coordinator for the cultural arts program.
The Fontana-based company's philanthropic approach is to raise the quality
of life, especially for younger generations.
"We saw a need in the community. The Cultural Arts Program in particular
continues to grow and enhance the lives of residents in Fontana. Last year, we donated $1,000.
This year, we raised the amount to support the educational outreach efforts we see at the
Artist Showcases and the impact they are making in our community," says Hae Park, owner of
Bel-Air Swap-Meet.
