Jack Bulik park cleanup

Fontana, California, July 29, 2008. The Mayor and City Council invite the public to join the ranks of Fontana volunteers who assist with park cleanups every month throughout the year. This month on Saturday, August 9 the crew will be at the Jack Bulik Park located at 16581 Filbert Street from 8 am to 12 pm.

This year a total of 56 hours will be volunteered for park cleanups. With most consisting of nearly 100 volunteers, the amount of service that is impacting the environment and beautification efforts is astounding. Students, families, clubs, and employers are all getting involved in the monthly events but help is still needed. Join others on Saturday, August 9 for a morning of fun, team building and outdoor exercise while helping the environment. Water, snacks, and lunch are provided.
