Don Day specialty classes

Fontana, California, August 4, 2008. The Mayor and City Council invite the public to register for the upcoming class at the Don Day Neighborhood Center, located at 14501 Live Oak Avenue. Instruction is available in American Sign Language beginning Wednesday, August 13 from 5:30 to 6:30 pm for $60 for 6 weeks or the one day seminar titled Get Thousands of Dollars for Your Child’s Education for $25 on Saturday, August 23 from 10 am to 12:30 pm for $25.

American Sign Language will teach youth and adults some of the basic tools for successfully communicating in American Sign Language. The class offers fun activities, playing cards, video/DVD clips, and interactive games.

Get Thousands of Dollars for Your Child’s Education is a one day seminar that will show parents and caregivers some of the ways to legally arrange finances to help pay for college costs with little out-of-pocket expense. A $30 material fee is due to the instructor the day of the seminar.
