deadlines for Fontana sports

Fontana,
California, August 18, 2008. The Mayor and City Council invite the public to
register for fall sports. Deadlines for registration are September 26 for Adult
Full-Court Basketball and September 13 for Pee Wee and Youth
Flag Football and Youth Roller Hockey. Prices,
times, and locations vary.
Registration for the Adult Full-Court Basketball is $250 per
team with a deadline on Friday, September 26. An additional $60 forfeit fee is required
but will be refunded at the end of the season if the team does not forfeit a game during
the season.
The registration deadline for the Flag Football season is Saturday,
September 13. Pee Wee Flag Football for ages 3 to 7 is $28
for residents and $38 for non-residents. Youth Flag Football for
ages 8 to 14 is $45 for residents and $55 for non-residents. Practices and games are
held at Southridge, McDermott, Hunter’s Ridge, or Coyote Canyon and begin as early as
Monday, September 29.
Youth Roller Hockey for ages 7 to 16 is $45 for residents and $55 for non-residents.
All practices and matches are played at Jack Bulik Sports Pavilion. Practices begin Monday,
September 29.
