Music lessons in Fontana

Fontana, California, August 12, 2008. The Mayor and City Council invite the public to register for upcoming music lessons in Fontana. Guitar lessons are available at the Don Day Neighborhood Center, located at 14501 Live Oak Avenue beginning August 27 from 6:45 to 7:30 pm for ages 8 and older for $50 for 8 weeks. Classes are also available for ages 10 and older at the Heritage Neighborhood Center located at 7350 W. Liberty Parkway on Saturdays beginning August 30 from 9 to 10 am for beginners and from 10 to 11 am for advanced students. Piano lessons on Wednesdays and Fridays are offered at the Cypress Neighborhood Center, located at 8380 Cypress Avenue beginning August 27 by appointment for ages 5 to 18. Piano primer is $60 for 4 weeks; Grade One is $75 for 4 weeks; and Grade Two is $80 for 4 weeks.

Learning to play a musical instrument can be fun and enjoyable with the right instructor and practice. Music lessons through the Community Services Department offer students of all ages an opportunity to learn in a positive and fun environment while developing strong motor/visual skills. Classes are taught in group and private settings.
