Juniper Avenue /Upland Avenue - Traffic Signal Installation Project The intersection of Juniper at Upland traffic signal will be turned on tomorrow (Tues./Aug.19). Motorists are advised to travel through this intersection with caution during construction.

Foothill Boulevard - Ilex Avenue to Cherry Avenue. - The intersection of Cottonwood at Foothill traffic signal will be turned on tomorrow (Tues./Aug.19). Motorists are advised to travel through this intersection with caution during construction.

Sierra Lakes Parkway / East of Sierra Ave. - Please be advised that new infrastructure construction along Sierra Lakes Parkway, east of Sierra Ave. will necessitate the road being closed beginning the week of June 16, 2008 and continuing through September 2008. A detour route using S. Highland Ave. will be posted. (updated 08/20/08)

Baseline Avenue - Citrus Avenue to Sierra Avenue. - The City of Fontana will be constructing street improvements including roadway widening, a center median, sewer, storm drain, decorative traffic signals, and street lights on Baseline Avenue from Citrus Avenue to Sierra Avenue. The anticipated construction period will be from May 27, 2008 thru August, 2009. Phase 1 will not interrupt existing traffic patterns/lanes. The work zone will be to the the south of the existing roadbed. Motorists are however advised to travel through the work zone area with caution.

Slover Avenue at Live Oak Avenue - Please be advised that to facilitate signal pre-emption work, the signal energize date has been postponed. This work will provide coordination between the signal operation and the rail gate operation.. We are working with U.P.R.R. to expedite the design and implementation and anticipate the delay to be through October 2008. (updated 08/11/08)

Cherry Avenue / Jurupa Ave. to Slover Ave - Please be advised that construction on Cherry Ave. is ongoing and motorists are advised to travel through the work zone area with caution.
